A geomembrane is an advanced lining solution to prevent fluid or gas migration within a structure or other engineering project, designed to protect land and surfaces from seepage, contamination or corrosion.  Geomembranes, also known as Flexible Membrane Liners, are made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) or LDPE (low-density polyethylene) and has high chemical resistance and ultraviolet resistance.

Geomembranes and liners are highly durable under all environmental conditions. They are strong and mechanically robust, with very good tear strength and elongation, as well as resistance to abrasion. They are malleable and easy to mold as required, provide high levels of UV resistance, and act as an effective barrier against moisture.   Geomembrane Products used with anygeotechnical engineeringrelated material so as to control fluid (or gas) migration in a human-made project, structure, or system

Reliable and Durable

These geoliners are a cost-effective, reliable and durable alternative to traditional lining methods such as concrete and clay. They come in a range of physical, chemical, and mechanical resistance levels, in different combinations. The material used to construct the liners can be seamed with adhesive to cover vast expanses such as landfills, farms, and reservoirs.

Non-toxic & High Quality Liners

Ocean geomembranes are non-toxic, high quality liners with a precise design, high level of stretch and an excellent finish. They’re also highly flexible and are easily able to conform to sub-grade contours. The geoliners are fabricated in panels up

to 25,000 square feet in size, and are available in varying degrees of thickness, from 0.1 mm to 2.5 mm, as well as fish grade and oil-resistance grade.

Functional Fequirements

Ocean Global offers geoliners to suit the specific functional requirements of our clients, at competitive pricing levels. We uphold our promise of high quality service ensuring that our geoliners are tested in certified labs for tear and puncture resistance, tensile strength, heat aging, and UV resistance, as well as providing a 20 year warranty. Installation of geomembranes requires gloves, a heat sealing machine, and drainage pipes.

Additional Information

Given their resistance to substances like water, soil, acids, organic waste, and

toxic or corrosive waste, geomembranes are widely used as a means of

preventing contamination and seepaepetrochemical industry, agriculture, landscaping, biogas, and in the development

of dams, reservoirs, water-canals, ponds, etc.
