A geomembrane is an advanced lining solution to prevent fluid or gas migration within a structure or other engineering project, designed to protect land and surfaces from seepage, contamination or corrosion. Geomembranes, also known as Flexible Membrane Liners, are made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) or LDPE (low-density polyethylene) and has high chemical resistance and ultraviolet resistance.

The material used to construct the liners can be seamed with adhesive to cover vast expanses such as landfills, farms, and reservoirs.
